@Barry

Thanks for the kind words and for noticing the library. I have replied on the embarcadero forums so other can see the reply. If you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.

If you decide to use the library there will be a new version out in a few days and it brings some important changes so you should wait for it (nothing new on serialization unfortunately).

Iztok i am really impressed with SimpleStorage.

I started dabbing in XML territory, recently tried TXMLDocument and more specific IXMLNode and wonder if i can use SimpleStorage the same way? It seems i could use some of its features further down the road. (encryption, compression, multiple files)

//This is what i intend now:
procedure TMyObjectSerializableBase.SaveToXMLNode(xmlNode: IXMLNode);
procedure TMyObjectSerializableBase.LoadToXMLNode(xmlNode: IXMLNode);

My application has a tree of Objects hiding logic, with public data variables that may not be stored. Which is why i do do not opt for RTTI object serialization.

How would you go about having objects (un-)serialize some properties in a XML node?
See https://forums.embarcadero.com/thread.jspa?threadID=49524&tstart=0
